GEsource provides access to high quality Internet resources for students, researchers and practitioners in geography and the environment through five distinct subject gateways: Environment, General Geography, Human Geography, Physical Geography, and Techniques and Approaches. Each of these main headings is further divided into a series of sub-sections that together make up the browse structure of GEsource.

GEsource is the geography and environment hub of the Resource Discovery Network (RDN).
The Resource Discovery Network is the UK�s free national gateway to Internet resources for the learning, teaching and research community. The service currently links to more than 80,000 resources via a series of subject-based information gateways (or hubs). The RDN is primarily aimed at Internet users in UK further and higher education but is freely available to all.
