The day after Kerry legitmately and in absolute dignity trounces George Bush, removes him from serious consideration as anything but a hired stooge, Al Qaeda releases a video urging young Muslims to attack America and its allies. I'm not sure who "allies" means in that context, besides Israel, at this late date, but it does erase the image of Bush whining and stammering in the minds of the confused and frightened public, in the US.
