Despite Dobson's top-security-expertness, or rather because of it, or rather because of its vague structure as expressed and the shove-it-down-your-throatness of his comment as presented by The Sun, and despite, or again rather because of his saying it virtually had to be the FSB, because they're the global masters of assassination by poison - at this moment without anything else to go on I'd say it was somebody else.
The irrational idea that because the FSB are masters of poison no one else in the entire modern covert world is capable of assassination by poison is pre-adolescent, fantastic, and does not scan.
Not that it couldn't have been the FSB, just that Dobson's reasoning is pure propaganda-speak and thus highly suspect.
When that happens it's best to work the diametric opposite angle. Somebody Dobson works for wants it to appear to be the FSB.
England is in the reptilian grasp of Russian oligarch/gangsters now, and there is much bitter virulent antagonism between those slimy expatriates and the Russian govt.
