“Providing children with health insurance and college tuition should be the responsibility of their parents. It's something that they can do with hard work, sacrifice, and good money management. Disrupting terror networks and depriving them of bases of training and operations in the Middle East so that they can't come over here and kill American citizens is the responsibility of the federal government. That's something no individual or family can do on their own. It sounds to me like they are spending the money right where it needs to be spent. Instead of looking at what that money could have bought, let's look at what that money has bought – $4,100 per American household for the good work done in Iraq over the last 4 years.
