"We're not accustomed, here in the Museworks, to doling out advice to powers-that-be, but it occurs to us that the economic boodling and the opportunistic rhetoric upgrades of the Bush administration now find themselves in a fortuitous harmonic convergence. It's pretty clear that the only conscionable course of action is for the United States to invade itself. A bold move, to be sure, but one designed to banish those pesky charges of diplomatic hypocrisy--to say nothing of the stubbornly jobless recovery from our latest domestic recession--in one fell swoop. And just think of the contracts! Hell, why not have the contractors now cooling their heels in the Middle East orchestrate the job? We're already paying most of them time and a half."
