Boycott new overpriced anythings. That is the only way to send a message to manufacturers to price new equipment at reasonable levels. Most "brands" are just marketing companies ("virtual" corporations) that OEM and outsource everything from subcontractors- parts, factory assembly, marketing. All the assembly factories I've seen had minimum wage illegal alien workers.
